Water in the Garden

A water feature adds  wonderful new dimensions to the garden. It  provides a home for many species of wildlife and a fountain or waterfall  creates a soothing symphony of sounds, even in a noisy city setting. Ponds are more affordable and easier to maintain than you might think. We can build anything from a formal fountain to a natural woodland pond and stream garden. We normally use 45 mil EPDM  rubber liners, energy efficient pumps, skimmers, and bio- filters.

Above is a new pond we built for a client.

This pond occupies one corner of a bluestone patio. It is surrounded by a fieldstone retaining wall and has a small waterfall that also serves as a bio-filter.
This a five foot diameter mushroom fountain with mortared brick edging.

Here is a raised fountain surrounded by mortared cobblestones topped with   Bluestone coping.

The same fountain as seen from a different perspective.
